Background:
Sunnyside Primary opened in 1894 and until 1998 was housed in the original sandstone building. In August 1998 the school moved to the present new accommodation comprising classrooms, library, computer room and games/ assembly hall. Sunnyside Primary now has a 100 place nursery class situated on one side of the old building (after a purpose-built renovation of the old accommodation) and a kitchen and dining room on the other side. The school has excellent facilities and a hard-working staff. The school aims to create a stable and happy working environment where all children can grow academically, physically, socially and emotionally. .
