Banchory Primary School serves the village of Tullibody along with three other primary schools. The school was built in 1959 and has a large, extensive playground. Tullibody village lies three miles east of Alloa and is suitably placed for access to the main motorways towards Edinburgh and Glasgow and the A9 north. The closest large city is Stirling. The school is based around a multi-purpose hall from which the headteacher's office, administration office and library are accessed. West of the hall there is a designated area, which consists of the nursery class and the P1 classroom. East of the hall is a distinct area which houses the P2-P7 pupils within two levels. Also situated in this area is the Support for Learning base, the general purpose room and a computer suite within which 19 PCs are sited - each classroom also has a personal computer. .
